That's a good question, Al. I'm sure Twitter, Inc. knows what it's doing. When you consider how quickly users upgrade from one handset to the next, it may be a long term strategy to be ready for the next generation of handsets which can handle Eclair and higher; when the Droid series and Nexus One are the standard instead of the future. That said, while I like the first party Twitter app, I've had great experiences with Twidroid Pro.
I like that you're thinking like a businessman when you ask the question, mate. :-) On May 1, 2:14 am, Al Sutton <[email protected]> wrote: > Anyone else think it's a bad move on Twitters decision to make their app 2.1+ > only given that over 70% of Android devices run versions of Android prior to > 2.1? > > Al. > > (Stats > fromhttp://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html) > -- > > * Looking for Android Apps? - Tryhttp://andappstore.com/* > > ====== > Funky Android Limited is registered in England & Wales with the company > number 6741909. > > The views expressed in this email are those of the author and not necessarily > those of Funky Android Limited, it's associates, or it's subsidiaries. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Android Discuss" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group > athttp://groups.google.com/group/android-discuss?hl=en. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
