I am very happy with my new evo but the one terrible app is the contact manager. Not that the iPhone was good but the evo is even worse!

Is there a contact management app for android/evo that has a concise summary view that shows all contacts with their main phone number and allows you to filter by typing without having to go through that hokey telephone button ui like the people app search? Nothing seems to come up on the android market place. I tried addresses but that is even worse.

I remember my old palm Treo had a great third party contact manager app - what was that called? Something intelligent and easy to use is the order of the day. Any suggestions?

Regards
Victor

The FAQ refers to the "warranty" in the absolute sense... i.e. all or
none.
Fact is that the device is sold by a US company, which means that they
are bound by US LAW, which prohibits blanket warranty denials based on
unrelated alterations. When you root it, you lose the warranty only on
the SOFTWARE (which is perfectly reasonable). The HARDWARE is still
covered.
