Hi,

If you go through the troubleshooting link here:
http://www.htc.com/www/support/nexusone/
turning the screen off and turning it back on is one of the suggested
fixes for this mis-calibration problem. Followed by a factory reset
if that doesn't work. I have done both of these things over the past
few months and still run into this problem a couple times a week
(where powering down seems to be the only fix for the mis-
calibration). So at John's suggestion I called HTC this morning and a
pleasant woman named Nichol took my info and they will send me a
replacement phone. You have the option of sending in your unit for
repair and living without it for 7 to 10 days or getting a replacement
shipped to you overnight (with a credit card hold in case you don't
send your back to them) and going through the exercise of moving any
data you want to keep from old phone to the new one.
