I agree the price is a problem with the Revue. I got a free BD player
(when I bought a TV) with Netflix integrated into it, along with other
internet stuff. That's not the point though.

The Revue box is the first in a line, not the end of it. The box is
mostly there for people who want to try out a cutting edge technology,
not for the budget conscious consumer. The apps part of Google TV is
going to be a huge part, once they release the SDK. You'll be able to
have similar apps on your TV as you do on your Android and new ones
too that exceed the technology available in the mobile world. I can
see stuff that I'd write that would be useful to at least me and
probably others as well. That's the really cool thing about Google TV.
The ability to write extensions without waiting for some company to do
it for you. What other platform offers that?
