I also received a Logitech Revue, which I like very much, and I don't understand why journalists have decided to run with the story that Google TV is a troubled product.
It's far from perfect, but the things I don't like about it are mostly flaws in the things I do like. One example is the Chrome-based apps that run in "lean-back" mode; they have a dark cinema background color that is easy on the eyes, and simple nav using the arrow keys and the OK key. Both very good. Unfortunately, Chrome often starts up with a default white background color which causes an unpleasant flash. Likewise, not every Web app is properly designed for video game style navigation with the arrow keys, and there is a context switch when you must resort to the mouse pad. A major lesson for me as an Android Dev is that the Android UI generally maps very well to a larger screen, and I look forward to seeing what else can be done with this platform.
