Most support emails I get read like a text message. But even a text
message has 140 characters.

Recent email:
<app> notworking

I can tell I will be digging in for a long chain here.

One of the more common ones:
Can't download

Does this mean you can't download the app from the Market? That you
can't download things using the app? What were you trying to download
for what part of the world?
All things that just don't seem relevant to someone who thinks I am
looking right over their shoulder.

And I won't even talk about the phone call from someone who bought my
Windows Mobile app by mistake, how I walked them through buying the
app in the Market, cancelling the order since it wasn't what they
wanted, and looking for a different app in the Market. Or how they
called back asking why the other app they found is asking for some
code.

Ironically, the Windows Mobile App cost $35, a small fortune for app
buyers. You'd think at that price, they would at least read a few
sentences to find out it wasn't for them. Or at least the part that
says 'Don't buy here for Android phones'.
