And that's a good thing. If i ever found out that an app took control of the 
'Home' key, i would uninstall it in a second.
The 'Home' key is designed as a quick way to your phone's home screen, to 
get out of any app.

Instead, use the top-left corner of your app's screen real-estate to 
implement your app's go-to-home-screen functionality. This is consistent 
with many other applications and the (unofficial) android ui guidelines.
