"This American Life" did just that recently. [1] And the hole is deep -- it appears LodSys is just a shell corp for Intellectual Ventures. Their "office" is an unused room they're renting in east Texas, so they can use that address as an excuse to sue from a court that is frequently friendly to corporate interests.
