This defeats the concept of open source programming. If Google wants to encourage people to release their apps in different markets, than they would allow you to translate for free. The fact that the service uses hardly any resources on Google's abundance of servers, makes me wonder why it’s $20 per million characters. So now can we expect Google to start charging for it’s other (free) SDK’s?
