Yes, I came across the 3.5 recommendation actually, at http://www.wallpaperama.com/forums/_wlxper.html. Then I understood Paul's mention above of "indigo" (3.7!).
Thank you for your remarks. I don't say it as a complaint, but this whole arrangement is THE most confusing installation I have ever dealt with.
