I have had issues before with my app not showing up in search results. I did open a formal case through the correct market support channels, I would suggest you do the same. I am not sure if that helped me or not, as I was finally able to get my problem fixed, through a back channel.
Unfortunately, I don't have much advice - but can tell you that I have had a lot of issues with my app not showing up in the Market search results, so at least you know you are not alone.
