I am working in Lua, but I run my code through "luasrcdiet" which reduces all local variable names (i.e., most of them) to single letters, in a manner related to Huffman compression, designed to make the source files compress better -- but also making the source a lot more difficult to read. In fact, almost all of the local variables become "e", unless they overlap in scope (and actual usage! it traces the usage as well) with another local. And that's if they manage to decrypt it. The key is in the native code...somewhere. ;) Suffice it to say that I'm not going to be distributing source to an app that I'm planning on making money on. I do contribute to open source projects, but giving pirates the ability to recreate your cash cow just doesn't seem wise, when they'll try to crack any app and distribute it for free anyway. I mean, why make it easy for them. Tim -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
