Right, I don't understand any of this :( http://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2611840
Suppose there is a US customer (US Google Wallet/credit card) in Germany (German sim card/IP) buying an app developed by an Australian-based Android dev (Australian Android Developer/Google Checkout account). >From what I understand, the prices will now include Australian VAT (at the level set in your Tax setup specified in Google Checkout settings)? But then the end of that article talks about US VAT being charged because of using a US credit card. Also, the article says: "If you are a developer selling apps in one of these countries, no action is required from you in preparation for this launch." but does not say what you need to do if you are not selling in one of those countries. Also, it does not specify whether "selling in" means "selling from" or "selling to". Any ideas!? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
