It's not AT&T.. and it started working again after a cold reboot. I have some tools that quickly and conveniently disables the data connection by internally setting the APN to a dummy value. Even though they were all set to enable data, I suspect the APN got hosed up by a bug in these tools. In any case, my question is still unanswered. I would like to know how to get some diagnostic info when I'm having network problems.
