I would prefer to have the account as my company name registered to the
support account. But I'm wondering if they thought about that? A lot
of the people at Google have very little experience in real world
software development and publishing.

So how will this work for developers..?
If, as a dev, I want to reply to a comment, what name will be shown..? My
real name..? Which bears no resemblance to the name of my app..? Surely
that would just look like I'm a.n.other person.
Or will they tack a "(developer)" to the end of my name if I post? And
presumably this would only work if I post from the dev console. And in that
case, what happens when people add me to their circles..will they see all
my personal posts?
It's against the G+ rules for me to create a new account just for my app as
the "first name and last name" are not those of a real person and would
also look like an alias which Google specifically don't want on G+ (unless
I use my actual name which again makes me look like a.n.other person).
I'm confused about how this will all happen..!
Do any of you developers have a G+ account for your app only..? Or if you
have a personal G+ account, how do you manage to separate your personal
stuff from your app stuff..?

Commenting is now to Google+ accounts and, during the migration, the
lazy approach was taken of mapping everyone to a google user instead of
trying to match G+ names with existing comments :(
Al.
You mean I *have* to join Google+ now? I've been trying to avoid the
social networking craze.
