I have a Google Play app order that won't "ship" or "charge" in Google
Checkout. It's been stuck in this state for 3 days now. Normally, I see
orders purchased and "shipped" immediately after purchase. Then, within a
day or less, the order is "charged". However, this order seems stuck in a
state of limbo, without shipping or charging.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? What exactly does it mean for an
app purchase to be shipped? Does it mean that the customer downloaded it
to their device? So if it hasn't "shipped", it might mean they somehow
purchased it online but haven't downloaded it yet? Or is there some other
meaning for an app being "shipped"?

I was contacted by one customer who had some questions about my app. He was trying to run it on a rooted device with one of the XDA builds. I checked his order and it had never "shipped" so he was apparently a paying customer who was using a pirated version which very likely giving him incorrect results since I set a booby trap for broken versions that skip my licensing code. The results are pretty evident to people in that field though and will teach them to steer clear of broken versions. The pirates won't know the results are wrong. I told him that I can't support anything but official OS releases. BTW, that order had been that way for months.
