Hi,

I work in a college and am doing research on the Android OS and the G1
phone. The wireless network i am accessing uses WPA2 Enterprise and
PEAP. I see that i can get access to the network (hopefully) by
editing the wpa_supplicant.conf file like in linux, I have the
settings for the network from another linux device. My problem is i
can't get access to root (or do i even need to??) to edit the file.
any ideas? i have the terminal emulator which seems useless since i
don't have access to anything i need.

It is an android Dev phone.

Bulid number: holiday_devphone_eu_userdebug 1.1 unlocked 130444 test-
keys
Kernel Version : 2.6.25-01845-g85d4f0d

Hope someone can help!..if you need any more info i can provide it, i
am no linux whizz though :P

Thanks,

David
