That's not a good sign... well, ATL already supports MDR *and* EMF and we're currently learning how to reuse their infrastructure to make MoTMoT independent of MDR as well: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/atl_discussion/message/363 Perhaps in time someone can write a new AndroMDA repository facade that uses the ATL wrappers instead of JMI interfaces? I know this is quite ambitious and probably for AndroMDA 5 only (let's first plug in model transformations well in AndroMDA 4...) but it may be required if one needs EMF support later, for example when one wants to work with Eclipse based UML 2 models, BPEL4WS models, etc. In case MDR does support MOF 2 in the future then AndroMDA 5 can still run the ATL wrappers on top of MDR but at least we avoid to be locked in.
