You continue to confuse andromda with Hibernate and Maven. AndroMDA != Maven, 
AndroMDA != Hibernate. AndroMDA is an MDA generator...the whole andromdapp 
thing is a way to get your jumpstarted on using some of the default cartridges 
provided.   We even encourage people to write their own cartridges (that's 
where the power is).



 AndroMDA does *not* run schema to export...Maven calls Hibernate which runs 
it...its a Hibernate tool not an AndroMDA one.  You'd have a better chance 
asking the Hibernate guys why schema to fails or the Maven guys even.

How exactly does it defeat the purpose?  You're still able to generate all your 
hbm.xml files as well as your java files.
