You continue to confuse andromda with Hibernate and Maven. AndroMDA != Maven, AndroMDA != Hibernate. AndroMDA is an MDA generator...the whole andromdapp thing is a way to get your jumpstarted on using some of the default cartridges provided. We even encourage people to write their own cartridges (that's where the power is). AndroMDA does *not* run schema to export...Maven calls Hibernate which runs it...its a Hibernate tool not an AndroMDA one. You'd have a better chance asking the Hibernate guys why schema to fails or the Maven guys even. Quote: which defeats the purpose of using AndroMDA and signals a limitation on using AndromDA (at least for me) until this is fixed. (end of quote) How exactly does it defeat the purpose? You're still able to generate all your hbm.xml files as well as your java files. -- Chad Brandon - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3770#3770 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Andromda-user mailing list Andromda-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/andromda-user
