Just to set it straight: saying so just the same as buying
funky keyboard with extra keys, attaching it to your desktop box,
finding out that most apps doesn't support those extra keys, and
claiming that all they are buggy.
If you have problems with a keyboard, it belongs to two
places: kernel and X config. Of course, from a mere user's point of
view, that's not so important - it doesn't work, period. But with
Linux, any "it doesn't work" automatically means "how to fix it?". And
to fix something, basic understanding of what belongs to where is well
helpful.
