I've had some problems with previous Opie images [see 'Angstrom Opie
1.2.3testing - 760 (Husky)' threads] where the c7x0 will boot but will
not start
X. I'm looking for a way to debug the same problem on the r9 images, but
don't know the default root password so I can ssh in, nor do I know how to
stop the boot process to look at log files. I did get one suggestion to log
a bug report, but I don't think I can give any reasonable information
without being able to look at the logs.

Is there a way to load say one of the console images, then without blowing
away my network / password config apply the OPIE image on top? I see
directions on the wiki about doing this for GPE, but none for Opie.

Thanks.
