It's not there in the default configuration - I created the directory
manually and copied the files to the dir (see my previous message)
And in principle it works:
I did test the previous version of kexecboot . Using that version I
could boot Angstrom from the NAND after I flashed the root filesystem
but only as long as I did not install additional packages (I did not
test that with the new version of kexecboot yet)

Hi,
cool! Very nice and the new S and R options are very useful.
But unfortunately the new kexecboot still does not find Angstrom/OPIE
(2007.12) on the internal RAM of my CL760. It detects the partitions on
the SD card (also Angstrom/OPIE 2007.12, Angstrom 2007.12 with X, and
Ubuntu) and I can boot them but it does not detect the OS on the
internal RAM ...
I suspect the 2007.12 installs lack a /boot/zImage.

After booting from SD card there are some messages in the dmesg output
regarding erase blocks but I'm sure if this has something todo with the
problem:
<5>Using static partision definition
<5>Creating 1 MTD partitions on "sharpsl-flash":
<5>0x00120000-0x007f0000 : "Boot PROM Filesystem"

Is there anything I can do to solve or debug the error?

Hi,
There are kexecboot kernels available for various machine at:
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/kexecboot/
Flash (or boot) the kernels as a regular kernel and on the next boot
you should be greeted with a boot selection screen. It looks for
/boot/zImage file to mark something as bootable.
Kexecboot is very usefull if you are using
http://amethyst.openembedded.net/~koen/narcissus/ to make images for
CF/SD cards.
