Hi,

There are kexecboot kernels available for various machine at:

http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/kexecboot/

Flash (or boot) the kernels as a regular kernel and on the next boot you should be greeted with a boot selection screen. It looks for /boot/zImage file to mark something as bootable.

Works great with my 2 GB SanDisk ExtremeIII SD card.
However kexecboot refuses to recognise the 4 GB Transcend card. I have to insert the 2 GB card first and let it scan (which is identified), then exchange cards and do a rescan- voila. Both cards have almost identical distribution files on ext3 file systems on them. In one case it works like a charm, in the second it does not.

I'd appreciate to hear ideas.

Thanks,

Oliver
