Hi Paul, I put in an timeout to simulate data coming in at a later time, also I took your fiddle <http://jsfiddle.net/SanderElias/emL7D/>, and changed the directive a bit. basicly I made it a lot simpler. I think it should work now with async data too. for a directive like this, you only need a link function.
