Hi Leo, Hmm, of all the source in AngularJS, you pick the part that's build like this to be able to be compatible with jquery (which is build pretty much similar to jqLite). And yes, I did look into the JQ code a long time ago, so there were no surprises like that for me. How is this proof that OO is better as a paradigm than any other way? It's hardly an independant study is it? What are the facts you are telling me? That complex constructor functions are bad? You don't have those when you go fully OO? I would say no and no ;)
ES6 is adding it, because it is giving in to the pressure of people like you. They grew tired of the nagging. Don't believe me? go read all the blogs and writings the ES6 guys do. You will see they think it isn't a particularly good idea, but it is asked for so much, and they are tired fighting it. To cut a long story short, can you come up with an independant study that proves with researched facts that OO is better than all other ways? Until that, you are following a belief. That's your choice, but do not try to force it upon me, or upon really well written systems like angular.
