Usually TS is the first choice because it's an easy step from JS to TS and TS is much more developer friendly.
Angular2 with Dart is great to work with as well. Dart provides lots of high quality tools and core libraries out of the box. This saves investigating tons of dependency management tools, build tools, ... Everything is working well together by default.
