Do you always get nasty when you are asked to support your opinion with
facts? Trying to convince people by insulting them is not likely to produce
results. Cold hard logic seems to work though. As soon as you come up with a
reasonable explanation of why we would need such a construct then it is
likely to be seriously considered.
