Jem,
Have a look at the ant-dev list archives. There was a thread about this a
while ago and it was concluded that the various SCM tools can be quite
different, to the extent that it will be difficult to come up with a
reasonable SCM base. There was some agreement that perhaps some things
about the various task should be harmonized (some attribute names, etc)
