I wouldn't say that ZASTAVA workers were or still are pro-NATO. They had
strong faith in DOS parties and they just wanted better life promised by DOS
coalition.
So, maybe ammong them were several hundreds who voted for DOS political
parties last year.
But, people here in Yugoslavia forget, maybe ZASTAVA workers forget too, one
thing which is important
to me. After DOS-NATO's coup Djindjic promised and announced (at the end of
october 2000.) ---- (on
car industry fair in Belgrade) that french car industry, famous "Peugeot",
will be new partner of ZASTAVA, and that no one worker will be fired out.
(Since 1955. ZASTAVA's main partner was Italian FIAT). People forget that
thing. Now ZASTAVA workers and workers unions too making big problems to DOS
regime In DOS regime now no one talking about cooperation with Peugeot.
So, DOS cheated workers and workers now feeling abused.
