Hi Chris, I think we are on the right path but still not close to call a VOTE - there are issues on the build ;( - rather, I was calling for an initial review :P
I think that the Nexus staging repositories[1] can serve our purposes to VOTE an RC - as we already do in Maven or Commons - so once vote passes, all we have to do is promoting the staging repo and copying tarballs/zip archives in the dist area.
