Guys -- Have any of you seen or participated in any research on AOLServer running on a Linux/Intel platform vs. a Solaris/Sun platform?
I'd be interested to see the difference in performance on machines with comparable hardware specs and scalability statistics (e.g. how does scaling up to 4 CPUs from 2 CPUs affect performance in either software/hardware architecture).
