Are you using the developers tools from the Jaguar CD or an older copy?
Considering that we're both running the same version of the same OS,
that's the only difference I can think of. My version of make
(installed by the dev tools) is 3.79 as well, so I don't think that's
your problem.
Have you altered the version of gcc that your system is using with the
gcc_select command at all? I haven't tried compiling with the gcc 2
compiler at all, just the standard gcc 3.
