Thanks for the tips. I need to select between Debian and FreeBSD right now. I think Debian will be the choice because I know the Oracle Client 9i can be installed on Debian, and I don't know about installing Oracle on FreeBSD.
On the other side, is Debian impacted by the "SCO" problem asking for license payments (as Debian is linux-based) ? That could be a good point for choosing FreeBSD. Regards. Jean-Fabrice.
