I am not, I am suggesting moving the main website off sourceforge but keeping cvs and downloads on sourceforge. > > I can offer a home for the website with good connectivity at > > this time I can give up the bandwidth for the cvs and > > download areas. What would you like the backup plan and redundancy to be? I presently have a 10Mb connection to the 'net, can provide an offsite redundant location. I host a number of medium size customers as well as serveral sites for smaller non-profit and volunteer groups. I also host uptime.openacs.org and myturl.com. I can do just about any backup plan that is needed but with just the plain site I believe a redudant offsite site would be more than acceptable. My main suggestion was to actually provide aolserver.com content using AOLserver. Perhaps even demostrate some of the features of AOLserver. > Sure, it has some downtime as well, but they offer a lot in > terms of the general system for dev management. My thought of offering to host the site was not to dismiss sourceforge, I use CVS and downloads @sourceforge for serveral projects (include uptime and myturl). I just thought that having aolserver.com on AOLserver might be a good PR move and help show case some of the power of AOLserver. -- /mek Cleveland, Ohio -- AOLserver - http://www.aolserver.com/ To Remove yourself from this list, simply send an email to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with the body of "SIGNOFF AOLSERVER" in the email message.
