Ok.. I have no idea why this would fix this problem, but I had this issue just today after having to reload our main webserver with redhat 7.2 and reloading the new joshie-fp rpms. In an attempt to get a better understanding of what was going on with the fpexe app I went into /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/apache-fp/ and noticed the fpexe.c file. I ran gcc fpexe.c and copied the a.out to _vti_bin/fpexe and voila, the problem disapeared. No idea why or how, but I figured that might help some of you out.
