If you go to http://www.joshie.com/projects/apache-frontpage/ you will now see that all documentation is updated to reflect the new Apache Frontpage as a DSO. The new RPMS have been posted to ftp://ftp.joshie.com/pub/apache-frontpage/ for all of you to feel free to use.

This revision has Mod_frontpage as a DSO which means the Apache source has been much less modified. It should also work on Red Hat 7 / 8 and 9 because I have updated to the new FPSE release from RTR.com. I have tested Frontpage 2003 client against a server running this stuff and it works like a charm.

I strongly suggest people upgrade to this code as it addresses 2 security issues, and I have an updated mod_ssl posted that addresses some more security issues. Also once you are running this new apache-fp, you can now get all the latest mod_ and PHP RPMS from Red Hat or whomever because you no longer need to specially compile against apache-fp to make it work. If you are using any mod_'s from me you will need to remove then and get replacements because they probably won't work with this. It's easy though to remove and install replacement mod_'s so it should only add a couple of minutes to your upgrade.

It's a happy day here in apache land.

I'm off to Yom Kippur services in an hour. If anyone needs anything please use the mail list or if you write to me directly then you may need to wait until tomorrow night, when Yom Kippur ends, for me to write back.
