Check it out... http://www.joshie.com/projects/apache-frontpage/install.htm
Very simple instructions on using Frontpage Extensions with Apache 2.x on Fedora. The instructions should be easily applicable to other distros. Also if you upgrade to Apache 2 from Apache 1 then make sure you follow my steps on the httpd.conf that comes with Apache 2 and then just migrate your personal settings from your old Apache 1 httpd.conf. It's better to start clean with an Apache 2 config. Web sites that you were hosting with Apache 1 will work perfectly with Apache 2. There is nothing you have to do. If you use Red Hat 9 then you should follow these instructions instead; http://www.johnspencer.info/Red_Hat_FPSE/FPSE2002onRedHat9.html If you use Mandrake Linux then you should follow these instructions; http://www.newwebsite.com/mandrake.html Some of my wording was borrowed from both of these other instructions, and without them I might not have figured out the steps to configure a Fedora box. -- Joshua Levitsky, MCSE, CISSP System Engineer Time Inc.
