No, Novell is *buying* Suse...Also just bought Ximian (that's how they got Red Carpet, Evolution and Mono).

But, and this is only my limited foresight, I'd be willing to bet .. at least maybe a quarter that Novell gets bought, if not majorly partnered with in a big way, by IBM...Who, by the way, invested $50 million in the Suse deal with Novell...

But you see, Novell has an enterprise Directory (eDirectory) which is .. LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than Microsoft's AD. And IBM needs a directory to glue all their stuff together..

Match made in heaven, if you ask me.....

(did I say I am also a Novell guy) ;)

Interesting.. I thought Novell just got bought out by someone else. I'll
have to investigate this. As it surely could solve a lit of issues around
here. Of course, what about the updates to Mod-* or apache? I know we can
rebuild the RPM's if we have source. But will they provide source for
anything that conflicts with FrontPage. I wouldn't expect them to support
FrontPage extensions.

We mostly run 7.2 and is very stable. I'm of the 'sleeping dogs' believe!

Thanks for the link..
