Noun case shouldn't be a problem. Separable verbs are harder. But the good news is going from Spanish to German should be easier than the other way around. I believe Unhammer (Kevin Unhammer) came up with some rules for Sámi to Norwegian for this. Some resources you can use: * Spanish dictionary from trunk/apertium-es-ca * German dictionary that Hèctor worked on from incubator/apertium-deu -- This should have a reasonable coverage of open categories, you will need to add the closed categories. I ran a short text from bild.de and it seems that we have pretty good coverage -- 83%... With many missing words being closed categories (E.g. werden, mussen) and proper names (Irland, Frankreich, Schweiz, Berlin). * There are probably no decent free dictionaries for German--Spanish, so one way to make a bilingual dictionary might be to use EuroParl: http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Extracting_bilingual_dictionaries_with_Giza%2B%2B You should make yourself a user on SourceForge ( www.sourceforge.net ) so that we can give you commit access.
