When I said April 25 I meant *March 25*!

Dear Apertiumers:
Unless anyone objects, I have advanced a bit the job of the Election
Board. Article 23, g says "When an election is called, the Election
Board will publish a temporary census of Committers with right to vote
will be published.".
This is the temporary census of committers that have registered to
vote in the next Apertium Project Management Committee election: total
22 committers. I hope I have everyone who answered.

The first thing for the Election Board to do when it is in place is to
officially publish this census. Article 23, b says:
"The Project Management Committee will provide the Election Board with
all the information needed to run the election", which I have just
done on behalf of the PMC.
According to our by-laws, article 23, g: " After 7 days to amend the
census, a definitive census of Committers with right to vote will be
published by the Election Board". *Please make sure you are in the
Census if you want to vote.* When it is officially published by the
Election Board, you will have 7 days to amend.
According to our by-laws, article 23, a:
"An Election Board of 3 committers (with one substitute each) will run
the election"
We have to choose an Election Board. But since (23 e) ""Candidates
cannot be part of the Election Board"", It would be nice to know who
is running for election. The PMC has a president and six more members.
Article 23, c and d say:
"Any Committer may run for member of the Project Management Committee"
"Any Committer may run for president of the Project Management Committee"
So here are 2 *action points*.
1. Those of you running for PMC or president, please come forward,
even if still informally.
2. Volunteers to be part of the election board (3 members and 3
deputies), please come forward. If the number of candidates is not
enough, then I will randomly choose them among the temporary
census. You see that the past PMC will help you to run the
election, so it is not a big job.
Having this information by April 25, 23:59 UTC would be nice!
All the best
Mikel
