Well could you first explain more about PMC election and their activities.

For activities, I found proposals on the wiki and votes of several
people who are generally active on this list.
Is PMC work restricted to that, and if not what more work have PMC
people to do ?

According to the 3 deputies, that seems to look-like what we call in
French "suppléant".

Why choosing suppléant first ?

And about PMC candidates, is there a restricted number for the chosen
persons (how many in this case) or do candidates only need a majority
of aprovals by others ?
