Hi,
I donot aim to use an existing anaphora resolution package. Rather, I want
to build a module which can :
replace the anaphoric expressions with the words they refer to. Now,
presently this is independent of the translator as I am just talking about
building this one module. What we can do once this module is built is,
change the current translation process a bit. The difference will be this:
First this module will do its work (replace all anaphoric expressions with
their corresponding referred words) and then the translator will come into
play.
Also, for this project, I will use English as the base language (the text
on which this module will work will be in English) and then the
corresponding English - X translator can translate (X is a language in the
current language pairs of Apertium). Actually, I would like to know if
this can be built for any language (as a single module). I have no idea
about this.
I think, now, I am more clear than in the previous mail. Share your
thoughts.
Cheers,
Anand Soni.
