Hi Oscar,

I've make a separate e-mail with your message as it appeared in the middle
of a conversation between shruti gupta and Mikel Forcada ;)

Concerning the libpcre problem, sometimes libraries are not correctly
linked and cached and you need to execute 'ldconfig' to get them right. Try
this and let me know if the problem is solved.

Concerning the "Interface for creating tagged corpora", once you've
finished the coding challenge and refined your ideas with Fran, let us know
about your ideas on how to do it and we will start a discussion.

Best,

Gema Ramírez

Hello everyone,

My name is Oscar Ramirez (tuxskar on the IRC), and I'm a 5º year student
Computer Science Engineering College at Malaga University (Spain)
I finished my bachelor in computer Science (oriented to systems) almost 2
years ago, and now I'm studying a master degree at the same place

I have work on a few open source project using C, Python, Django, PyGTK,
Android and Arduino but the most important here is the last one. I'm
developing a lawyer's office manager on PyGTK (here is the code
https://github.com/tuxskar/ord-en-ley)

This is the first year I have applied for gsoc and I'm really excited to
work on it

I'm interested in work on gsoc2013 with Apertium project developing the
idea "*Interface for creating tagged corpora*" because I read you are
thinking on write it on python and GTK and I have some experience using
that technology

I have almost finished the "coding challenge" proposed to work on this idea
(just I have to solve the problem with PCRE) and I have a better Idea about
what do I should do on the project and how to do it. (also thanks to
Francis Tyers because I have asking about this the whole day :D)

To finish, also mention that I have worked on PyGTK but always is good
learn new technologies, if you decided to implemented it on wxPython or
PyQt I have no problem to learn and use that technology

Thanks and I'm waiting for your response to work on it :D
