I am maintaining the Apertium packages with Kartik Mistry likely sponsoring
the uploads. The updated 3.3.0 release ones are currently in Alioth under:
git://git.debian.org/git/debian-science/packages/lttoolbox.git
git://git.debian.org/git/debian-science/packages/apertium.git
There is no fix for the regex issue yet. It is certainly possible to fix
within a month, though.
