OK, that means a wiki page became obsolete (as written in the English version).

It works.

echo "Les poules du couvent couvent leurs oeufs" | apertium fra-cat
Les gallines del convent coven els seus ous  (good)

old version :
echo "Les poules du couvent couvent leurs oeufs" | apertium fr-ca 
Les gallines del coven covin els seus ous   (bad, 2 verbs)

For that example, it is better.

But something is strange without the object complement :

echo "Les poules du couvent couvent" | apertium fra-cat
Les gallines del convent convent   (bad, as with any translator I tested)

But with one of my shell testing which apertium binary file are present
to run apertium commands without using the mode file, it does :
