Alright, several adjustments following all text suggestions (seems to read better),
http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/File:Apertium-structure.svg RE: "I would also reuse as much as possible the info from the previous dummies image, it had some good stuff" Agreed. The diagram was originally made for projecting during a talk. I thought the wiki could use it. Therefore it has no detail, as whoever is the speaker will run down the workflow, adjusting their commentary for their audience and aims. I am now guilty of bringing material in from the side... To supplement the diagram and the notes, I have a proposed whole new page (in text, so it can be easily edited). If the page becomes acceptable then it would be posted near the diagram, with a title like 'Apertium workflow guide', or similar. The data includes overall descriptions, examples, stream format, mode names, links, and more. I've posted a sample from the 'Lexical Selection' module section on my user page, so you get the idea (look to the bottom), http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/User:Rcrowther (please, I do not need this reviewing---it is due for heavy revision as soon as I can) But, of course, we should not loose that extra material. I am keen to preserve the character of this wiki---I have come to be very fond of it. Hope this explains how I am trying to fit this together, Rob On Mon, 2016-12-19 at 15:38 +0200, Joonas Kylmälä wrote: > I would change also "Lexical Transfer (translation)" -> "Lexical > Transfer (translation of words)" > > On 12/19/16, Joonas Kylmälä <[email protected]> wrote: > > Also if this is for "dummies" then the svg needs to be updated a bit more: > > > > - For example "split into words/groups of words" could be changed to > > "split into words/groups of words, so called chunks".
