Hi David, APNIC has implemented prop-125 in stages and have recently rolled out the IRT escalation process.
We’ve received and are following up 3 escalations so far. But based on handling past escalations from various channels (web form, email, chat, social media etc.), we can usually contact the Member and resolve the problem, especially if it has significant operational impact even if it may take time for them to act. We’ll work on capturing the stats so we can report back to the community. In AFRINIC is under discussion. In ARIN there is a similar one. In RIPE NCC next Tuesday, a new version of the policy proposal will be published (the last version didn't reached consensus), but the escalation already exists. Any stats on effectiveness? That is, when APNIC facilitation of abuse contacts results in resolution? Out of curiosity, do any other RIRs have a similar service?
