I am glad you replied with what ever information you have. Lets take it piece by piece and understand-:
1. You seem to have relied on the post of NRS to make the allegations. What is NRS standing? Is it trying backdoor means to muscle in to dislodge AFRINIC? The post you have reffered does not mention who wrote it just a mysterious NRS Team? The post is a classic example of targeted paid journalism. The allegations made ad nauseam are with no evidence, logic, reasoning and research analysis. To me it falls in category of scurrilous writing to be dust binned. Now coming to the letter of Eddy to ATU which you have reffered to as the mother lode of corrupt dealing? I have read through the entire letter. My observations-: 1. Para 1 Is Introductory nothing controversial. 2. Para 2 Informs of the litigations that have led to lack of quorum in AFRINIC Board. 3. Para 3 Informs of urgency to revive AFRINIC Board. 4. Para 4 Informs that not possible or practical to appoint Board members as per constitution. Hence as a registered member he is going to apply to Supreme Court of Mauritius to appoint Directors. 5. Para 5 & 6 In these paras Eddy is requesting ATU to recommend four or more names of suitable candidates with their CVs who can take on the responsibility of Director if the Supreme Court so desires and for the duration it desires. Having gone through it multiple times I fail to understand where the underhand request of his choice and such allegations come from? It is a very clear cut letter in its meaning and intent. Please share evidence of this? Has he written to Supreme Court or any other constitutional Body? I don’t see it? Next you say he has lost faith of large part of community?? Have you based this on any survey if yes then share or a Poll again please share? Making wild baseless allegations seems to be your forte. For what reasons I do not know? How come being from APNIC community you are so immersed in AFRINIC affairs. Seems some connection?business interests? soured deal? Will be interesting to find out!!! I suggest come with all your evidence to APNIC 54 in Singapore and level the allegations to the APNIC community at large. I am sure if you say Paul has lost faith of majority of APNIC community they will support you. I will be there.
