Dilip,

I think it's a bit of a stretch referring to Karl's emails as spamming. He has
been one of the most vocal supporters defending the community whereas it seems
yourself and others simply raise questions in an attempt to cast doubt over
APNIC as a whole.

Questions such as asking about whether or not an NRS-branded vehicle being
parked out the front of the hotel and photos being taken to win a $10 Amazon
gift card is a part of the conference is sanctioned (when it's clearly not as
it's not listed anywhere on the APNIC or APRICOT websites) is nothing short of
spam.

Regards,
Christopher Hawker

Amazon gift card Campaign

Hi Karl (I spelled it correctly this time),

Please carefully read my email. I am inquiring with APNIC to determine if the
campaign in question is an official one. I want to clarify that I am not
connected with NRS and do not possess any details regarding it. I apologize if
this disappoints you.

Furthermore, if you claim that I am spamming for NRS, it is evident that you
are also spamming for APNIC.

Let's strive to respect everyone's perspectives. I value your viewpoint as well.

Best regards,

APNIC,

Please moderate this clear spam, given Dilip’s history and that he could have
just contacted “NRS” directly, this is clearly campaigning.

Subject: [apnic-talk] Query Regarding "Catch me if you can" #SnapAndWin Amazon
gift card Campaign

Hi

I hope this email finds you well. I recently came across a post on Twitter
promoting the #SnapAndWin campaign with the hashtags #apricot2024.

The post encourages participants to snap a picture with a specified car, tweet
it and win a $10 Amazon gift card USD.

I would like to inquire whether this campaign is an official Apricot 2024 event
? Additionally, as I am attending the event online, I am interested in knowing
if online participants can also join this campaign and be eligible for the
mentioned rewards.

Your clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for
your time and assistance.

Best regards,
