Hi Rather than colours for the actual tasks, how about (optional) colours for the important headings? The overdue heading might be in red, Today might be in green Tomorrow in, say, blue and Next Seven Days left grey. Or, ideally, the colours could be user definable. This would have the benefit of keeping the UI "clean" whilst still highlighting the due date divisions between the tasks.
